Homer Spit has an interesting and very popular fishing hole. The Salmon come in where fishermen catch them from the shore and shallows. So far we have bagged five Silver Salmon. We've had fish taco's and a full salmon dinner. I didn't know how good fresh Salmon was!
Glad you know now. Salmon is the best and moose meat. You should try that too while you are up there! Nothing beats moose steak! Raised on salmon and moose meat. LOL
