We stayed last night and tonight at the Russian River campground in the Chugach National Forest. We stayed here because the Russian River is famous for fly fishing for both Salmon and Rainbow trout. Unfortunately our timing was off and we're a little to early for the second run of the Salmon.
But we got to see a lot of a particular grizzly bear. This guy is about two years old and he would march up and down the river looking for food all day long.
Plus some other locals looking to do some fishing.
Everyone got a chance to try their hand at fly fishing, but I only got a picture of Zach.
