We've spent a few days now in Homer Alaska. Homer is a beautiful spot on the Kenai Peninsula known as the Halibut capital of the world. Lots of fishing and beautiful scenery.
We are camping on the 'Homer Spit' which is the land pushing out into the bay in the picture below. The Spit has the fishing harbor, some stores and a famous saloon called the Old Dawg's Saloon.
