Moraine Lake

On July 6th, we went to Moraine Lake for the day.  Moraine Lake is famous for Canadians because the lake was pictured on the Canadian $20 bill for many years.  It was unbelievably gorgeous.

We then started a hike from the off on a 5.6 km trail to Eiffel Lake through the Larch Valley to get a panoramic view of the Valley of the Ten Peaks.

David and Karen had enough energy to divert on a separate trail from the one we all were on, to head up to Sentinel Pass.  On the way, Karen got some pictures of the locals.

  1. OMG. That top photo is amazingly gorgeous. Must have been breathtaking seeing it live. Wish I was there. Maybe I could have fitted in Zach's purse. LOL. Be safe and keep blogging.
